A Counter-Strike 2 dedicated server for scrims, pugs and community nights, with workshop maps from the console and your own configs.
Each new server starts with its plan’s player limit already set.
Run host_workshop_map with a map’s Workshop ID from the console, and set the map your server starts on as Map on the game panel’s Startup tab.
Run commands from the Console tab of your Piedmont dashboard, and edit server.cfg and autoexec.cfg in game/csgo/cfg.
Back up before you change configs or plugins and restore from your dashboard; your plan sets how many backups you keep. They’re stored with the server, so download any you can’t lose. Restarts can run on a daily or weekly schedule.
Choose yourname.piedmonthosting.com at checkout. Players connect to it, with your port, from the CS2 console.

CS2 plugins are built on Metamod:Source and CounterStrikeSharp; SourceMod doesn’t support CS2. You install them yourself over SFTP or the file manager — there’s no one-click installer.
64-tick. CS2 runs every server at a fixed 64 ticks with sub-tick updates; there’s no 128-tick option in CS2.
Casual is a 10v10 mode, and CS2 caps it at 20 players — even on Premium (32 slots). Filling more slots needs a game-mode override (a gamemodes_server.txt file); open a support ticket if you want one. Competitive (5v5) and Wingman (2v2) have smaller limits of their own.
From the console: game_type 0; game_mode 1; changelevel de_dust2 switches to Competitive. A restart puts the server back in Casual — open a support ticket if you want a different default.
Create a free Game Server Login Token (GSLT) for App ID 730 at steamcommunity.com/dev/managegameservers, paste it into Steam Account Token on the Startup tab and restart. An invalid or expired token leaves the server stuck on Starting; set it back to all zeros to recover.
CS2’s dedicated server is a very large install, so allow up to about 15 minutes the first time. We email you once the server is running.
Yes. There’s no idle shutdown or sleep mode — it keeps running whether or not anyone is online, and it’s covered by our uptime SLA. If a payment fails, the server is stopped until the payment goes through.
