Dedicated servers with full mod support
Host your own Hytale server with full customization. QUIC protocol for low-latency gameplay. Mod support and custom worlds. Requires one-time OAuth setup.
Players can connect using yourname.piedmonthosting.com instead of an IP:port.
A dedicated Hytale server for you and your friends. It needs a one-time sign-in with your Hytale account; after that, restarts are automatic.
Do the one-time sign-in in the Console tab of your Piedmont dashboard, then start, stop and restart the server from the same page.
Hytale connects over QUIC, which runs on UDP. Your server’s port is already forwarded; players just need a network that allows outbound UDP.
Back up before you add mods and restore from your dashboard; your plan sets how many backups you keep. They’re stored with the server, so download any you can’t lose. Restarts can run on a daily or weekly schedule.
Choose yourname.piedmonthosting.com at checkout. Players enter it with your port.
my-server.piedmonthosting.com:5520 with your own address and connect.Your exact address is on the Overview tab of your dashboard and in your server-ready email.
Hytale supports both mods and plugins. Upload them over SFTP or the game panel’s file manager, then restart the server. The larger plans leave more memory for big mod sets.
A Hytale server can only download its files and accept players once a Hytale account has authorized it. In the Console tab, open the link the server prints and sign in. When it says Hytale Server Booted!, run /auth login device and sign in again, then /auth persistence Encrypted so restarts don’t ask again.
Not if you ran /auth persistence Encrypted — that last step saves the server’s sign-in. Without it, you’ll be asked to sign in again after every restart.
Yes. The account you sign in with must own Hytale, or the server won’t start.
We create the server and email you the sign-in steps within a few minutes. Setup finishes once you sign in: the server downloads its files and boots, and from then on restarts are automatic.
The plans are sized for 2–10 players on Starter, 10–24 players on Standard and 24–50 players on Premium. Bigger groups and heavier mod sets need the extra memory and CPU of the larger plans.
Yes. There’s no idle shutdown or sleep mode — it keeps running whether or not anyone is online, and it’s covered by our uptime SLA. If a payment fails, the server is stopped until the payment goes through.
Hytale plans start at $6.99 a month.
