What goes on it

What a restaurant, café or salon site needs

  • A menu that is a real page. Not a PDF. A web page reads well on a phone, shows up in search, and on WordPress you change a price in a minute.
  • Hours — including the exceptions. Holiday hours and “closed for a private event” are the most-checked information on the site. Put them where people look.
  • Catering and large orders. A request form with the date, head count and details — our bakery demo asks for 48 hours’ notice, the way a real kitchen would.
  • Booking, if you take appointments. For salons and studios: services, prices, who does what, and a booking flow. That is our Custom package.
  • How to find you. A map, parking, and what to expect on a first visit.

Most cafés and restaurants fit our Business package (WordPress, up to 10 pages); booking is Custom.

How it works

Remote, and quick to get going

We’re a one-person studio in Durham and we work by email and a short phone call — no meetings to schedule.

  1. Tell us about it. Use the short form — your business, what you need, any site you like. No account needed.
  2. A fixed quote. We reply within one business day with a plan and a price. Nothing is billed by the hour.
  3. Drafts as private links. You review the site on your own phone and computer and ask for changes by email or a short call.
  4. Launch. 50% to start and the rest at launch, paid by card. Then 30 days of free fixes.
FAQ

Questions

Can I change the menu myself?

Yes, on a Business site. It runs WordPress, and every page of our Four-Thirty Bakehouse demo opens in the normal WordPress editor — prices, hours and specials are yours to change. You get a walkthrough at launch.

Can customers book online?

Yes — that is our Custom package, quoted per project. The Wren & Rye demo shows the customer side of a booking flow; for a real salon we connect it to how you actually take appointments.

Do you meet in person?

No — we work remotely, by email and a short phone call, from Durham. Drafts come to you as private links, so you can look at them on your own phone in your own shop.
