Frequently asked questions

How much does a website cost?

Every project gets a fixed quote, but most land close to the package prices: Starter sites from $750, WordPress business sites from $1,750, and booking or ordering builds from $3,000. That is well under what most Triangle studios publish for comparable work, and the price we quote is the price you pay — no hourly billing.

How do I pay?

50% when you approve the quote, and the rest when the site goes live. Both are a simple invoice you pay by card. Churches and registered nonprofits get 15% off the build.

Do I have to host with Piedmont?

The build price assumes we launch the site on our managed hosting — plans start at $3/mo and include SSL and email. If you need it hosted somewhere else, say so in your request and we will quote that instead.

What happens after launch?

For 30 days, anything that isn't right is fixed free. After that there is no retainer or contract: if you want a change, tell us and we will quote it before doing anything. Business sites are on WordPress, so you can update text, photos, menus and events yourself.

How long does it take?

Most Starter sites launch in 1–2 weeks and Business sites in 2–4 weeks, depending on how quickly we get your content (logo, text, photos). Custom builds vary — the quote includes a timeline.

I don’t have photos or copy. Is that a problem?

No. We can write the text with you from a short call, and use licensed stock photos until you have your own. Real photos of you, your team and your work almost always do better, so we will tell you which few are worth taking.

Who owns the website?

You do. The design, content and code are yours. If you ever leave, we hand over everything.
